Most children from low-income families in the former Soviet Union live in poverty with their parents, who are often dependent on alcohol or drugs. Children who live in orphanages receive minimal support from the state, which can not provide for their needs.
One of the biggest projects of Bible Mission is helping children. It has been working for over 20 years, and through it almost 4000 children have receive help. Many of the children who have received help have also came to Christ.
Assistance is provided each month in the amount of $30 for children from poor families, large families, dysfunctional families, disabled children, orphans or children from boarding schools.
Children receive food, shoes, clothes, hygiene products, school supplies, gifts and other necessary products.
If available, a volunteer from Bible mission meets with each child and their families personally . They look at the state of the child, for their needs and helps to solve emerging issues.
Through this project, there is a great opportunity to tell the children and their families about the Lord, invite them to church, and answer questions about God and the Bible.
We, who live in the United States and have prosperous lives, often forget the circumstances in which people live in in the former Soviet Union. Many of which often lack some of the basic necessities such as hot water, showers, and restrooms. The children live in the cold and in need, often lacking warm clothes and food for a full meal.
Currently we support 4000 children
For 20 years our faithful friends have supported thousands of children.
Through the project we support children from eight different countries.
If you support the Child Sponsorship project, keep in mind that there are fees taken from us and from a $30.00 there is $28.83 left, so we advise to donate $ 33.00
